The latest Philips Evnia monitor delivers 260Hz gaming for less than £160

For a while there, if you wanted to go above 144Hz, you would have to spend hundreds of pounds on a new gaming monitor. Over the past year, the barrier to entry for these ultra-high refresh monitors has only lowered. The latest from Philips Evnia can have you gaming at up to 260Hz for less than £160.

Philips Evnia is adding the 27M2N5201P to its line-up, targeting competitive gamers who want high frame rates without moving beyond Full HD. The monitor features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a refresh rate of up to 260Hz. With up to 1ms GtG response time and 0.3ms Smart MBR, it ensures maximum visibility during high-speed action. The feature set is completed by HDR10 support, AdaptiveSync, Low Input Lag, and the Philips Evnia Precision Center software.

The included stand supports height adjustment, along with tilt, swivel, and pivot, allowing the screen position to be set for different desk layouts and play styles. For connections, the Philips Evnia 27M2N5201P includes one HDMI 2.0 port and DisplayPort 1.4, plus a headphone output, supporting common PC and console sources. The monitor is supplied with HDMI and DisplayPort cables for straightforward setup.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N5201P will be available starting this month, priced around £159.99.

KitGuru Says: The budget gaming monitor market has become more impressive each year. Are you considering making the jump to a 240Hz+ display this year?
