Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has had an unfortunate development. First announced in late 2020 alongside a January 2021 launch date, reactions to the announcement trailer were far from positive, leading the publisher to delay the title. Since then, the Sands of Time remake has been delayed, delayed again, switched developers, delayed, rebooted, and then finally re-revealed in 2024 (with a couple more delays sprinkled in).
