July’s ‘free’ Nintendo 64 game announced

Each month, Nintendo adds one additional game to its library of Nintendo 64 titles as part of the company’s Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack subscription service. Following on from last month’s game ‘Pokemon Snap’ NSO members are set to receive another N64 Pokemon game this month.

Coming to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack on the 15th of July, Pokemon Puzzle League offers “a new kind of Pokémon battle where the power and speed of your brain are just as important as the strength of your Pokémon! Join Ash, Brock, Misty, and many more characters from the Pokémon animated series as they gather in Puzzle Village to compete for the title of Pokémon Puzzle Master.”

Response to Pokémon Puzzle Master upon its initial release was surprisingly positive, especially considering the game’s genre. Since then, the game has remained within the minds of fans, and so initial reactions to the announcement that Pokémon Puzzle Master would be July’s new N64 game has been welcome indeed.

Of course, whether this justifies the added cost of the Expansion Pack is up to you, but slowly yet surely, Nintendo is fleshing out its N64 library on Switch.
