Limited Edition God of War DualSense controller announced

Sony recently held a State of Play where the console manufacturer gave fans another look at the highly-anticipated God of war Ragnarok. Alongside this upcoming piece of software, Sony announced some accompanying hardware, with a God of War Ragnarok themed controller on its way.

Available on the 9th of November – the same day as God of War Ragnarök – you can “Arm yourself for the battle of Ragnarök with this limited edition DualSense wireless controller. Inspired by the Norse world of Midgard with its unique two-tone design of cool blue on icy white, embellished with bear and wolf insignia – representing Kratos and Atreus.”

God of War Ragnarök represents the first game from Sony to get an accompanying custom PS5 DualSense controller, with all other controllers until now offering either basic colours, or simple patterns.

If you still have your launch-day DualSense controller, it could be worth picking a new one up, as on top of the cool new design and colour, Sony’s DualSense controllers have slowly and subtly had its hardware improved over time, with more recent controllers produced featuring stronger Adaptive Triggers – among other small but nice additions.

With Sony now offering a PS5 controller based on an upcoming video game, it is safe to assume that more future PS5 titles will also see custom controllers released – allowing your controller to match your favourite game.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the controller’s design? Will you pick it up? What other game do you want to see get a limited edition controller? Let us know down below.
