When it comes to showing off its upcoming releases, Nintendo has settled on two primary outlets: its Direct Showcases as well as Nintendo Treehouse streams. Announcing the latter, the Switch 2 maker has now confirmed that a Nintendo Treehouse will be going live later today – taking a look at the Switch 2 Edition of Mario Bros. Wonder as well as the much-anticipated Pokemon Pokopia.
Taking to Twitter to make the announcement, the official Nintendo of America page wrote: “Join us on Feb 24 at 2pm PT [10PM UK Time] for a new Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation featuring hands-on gameplay of #SuperMarioBrosWonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and #PokemonPokopia.”
For the uninitiated, Nintendo’s Treehouse streams are typically reserved for deep-dives into its games, and so while we have already heard plenty regarding Meetup in Bellabel Park and Pokopia, this upcoming event should present a more in-depth and uncut look at these two upcoming releases.
Between the two titles, Pokopia is of course the more interesting game, being a brand new title from the team behind Dragon Quest Builders 2. Mario Bros. Wonder on the other hand originally released back in 2023 for the OG Switch, and so fans already know what to expect for the most part.
Regardless, it will be interesting to see what Nintendo has to say regarding these two titles when the Treehouse stream goes live later tonight at 10PM.
