Corsair H100 & H100i Performance Comparison with SP120 Fans

In our noise level tests we switched off all the case fans and replaced the AMD Radeon HD 7950 graphics card with a HD 5550 passive model so were  just taking into account the noise generated by the cooler fans themselves.  We measured the noise level with a Digital Noise Level meter at a distance of 1m from the front of the case.

In this test we can see quite a large variation between the different fan configurations.  From these results we would say that the push-pull configured quiet edition fans offer the best compromise between performance and noise level.  They hardly make any noise at all and offer some impressive temperatures, both with the H100i and H100.
