Netstor NA611TB3 Thunderbolt 3 External Drive Enclosure Review

Rating: 8.5.

Netstor may be a new name to some but the Taiwanese company has been around since 2001 and specialises in cutting-edge storage and PCIe expansion solutions for varied business applications. Its latest external drive is the NA611TB3, which as you may gather from the name, uses the Thunderbolt 3 interface. But what makes the NA611TB3 really special is that it supports two M.2 NVMe drives that can be built into RAID arrays to provide even more performance/security.

Netstor's NA6111TB3 is a compact, well-designed portable drive built from aluminium and protected by a rubberised covering that is a bright turquoise colour. Put it this way, you certainly can't miss it sitting on a desk! We say ‘portable' and while the drive itself certainly is, it's powered by a 60W external power supply so you'll have to remember that carry that along as well.

Netstor backs the NA6111TB3 with a two year warranty.
