In our throughput test, the clear winner in the read test was the pair of Samsung SSD 960 EVOs in RAID 0 peaking at 2192.17MB/s. When it came to writes, the best peak performance came from the RAID 0 Intel SSD 760p and Toshiba RD400 combination with the peak performance of 1629.35MB/s coming at the 8MB block level. However, the performance then dipped to 1509.21MB/s at the end of the test with the Samsung RAID 0 pair of drives finishing the test stronger at 1604.15MB/s.
