Despite already retailing for a relatively high price, the current state of the video games industry has led Nintendo to announce that the Switch 2 will be receiving a $50 price hike later this year. Seemingly in an effort to ease concerns, the console maker has announced a new ‘choose your game bundle’ allowing you to pick from a number of different first-party Switch 2 titles.
Following the recent announcement that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be going up in price later this year, the console maker has announced a new limited-time bundle for those wanting to get in on the action prior to the impending hike.
Making the announcement via a press release, Nintendo officially unveiled their upcoming ‘Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle’. Said to be going live in early June for a limited time (at participating retailers), the bundle will set you back $499 – similar to the previous Mario Kart World Bundle.
Instead of just MKW however, purchasers will be able to select from 3 different digital Switch 2 titles:
- Mario Kart World
- Donkey Kong Bananza
- Pokemon Pokopia
As mentioned, this bundle will be limited, and presumably will only be on offer until the official price hike goes live sometime in September.
Regardless, for those who were already planning to get their hands on a Switch 2 ahead of the price increase, this upcoming bundle will likely present the best opportunity for you to do so.
