Nvidia rumoured to show first Pascal GPU at GTC in April

We have been hearing more and more about Nvidia's plans for Pascal over the last couple of months. The latest rumour suggests that we may get to lay our eyes on the first working Pascal graphics card as soon as April at the GPU Technology Conference, at which  Nvidia's CEO and Co-Founder, Jen-Hsun Huang will be hosting a couple of keynotes.

A source speaking with wccftech claims that Nvidia's Pascal debut will take place on the 5th of April, with a new graphics card being shown off during a keynote. This will be a working board too, rather than a prototype built to show off the card visually, which means we may hear a bit more about performance.

Elsewhere on the web, sweclockers is reporting that Pascal's mobile chips may start popping up in June inside of gaming notebooks set to be announced at Computex this year. No mention is made on what models to expect or what sort of performance could be on the way but that could be part of Nvidia's plan.

Obviously, none of this information is confirmed though so take it with a grain of salt. After all, it wasn't that long ago that we heard that Nvidia's Pascal GPUs wouldn't be launching until the second half of the year.
