Inductive/wireless charging is gaining popularity at an exponential rate – the global market is predicted to hit just under £11bn by 2024, for example. Qi charging is certainly handy, especially with a recent proliferation of portable battery-based Qi chargers which don't need a cable or wall socket for charging your phone on the move.
