Crackdown 3 will now release on the 15th of February

Earlier this year, we learned that Crackdown 3 would finally be coming out in February 2019. We know that at this point, the game is out of safety nets and won't be pushed back again. It turns out that development seems to be going well at last, as the release date was brought forward, earlier into February.

At E3 earlier this year, Microsoft announced that Crackdown 3 would release on the 22nd of February. Now, during XO18, it was announced that Crackdown 3 will now be coming out on the 15th of February instead, complete with a full campaign mode and a dedicated multiplayer mode called ‘Wrecking Zone'.

The campaign stars Terry Crews as the main character, story details are slim but we do know a bit more about the multiplayer. Wrecking Zone will be a 5v5 deathmatch mode with full environment destruction.

During this mode, players will be pitted against each other on a big arena map filled by skyscrapers, all of which can be destroyed as players battle it out.

KitGuru Says: I don't see Crackdown 3 being a huge seller but the game launching on Game Pass should ensure some success. Are any of you looking forward to Crackdown 3?

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
