Square Enix returns to GeForce Now this week

Nvidia has quickly made a tradition out of GeForce Now updates landing on Thursdays each week. This time around, the big news is that Square Enix titles are returning to the service, in addition to a few other games. In total, there are 21 games arriving on the GeForce Now platform.

Starting with Square Enix, which previously withdrew its games from GeForce Now during a somewhat controversial launch amongst publishers and developers. Now that Nvidia and Square Enix have had some time to hash things out, Deus Ex, Tomb Raider and a few other major games are returning.

Here is the full list of 14 Square Enix titles coming to GeForce Now today:

  • BATTALION 1944
  • Boundless
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director's Cut
  • Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
  • Just Cause 3
  • Just Cause 4
  • Life is Strange
  • Life Is Strange 2
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
  • Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition
  • Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
  • The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit
  • Tomb Raider

There are also 7 other games coming that are not published by Square Enix. That list includes:

  • Paladins (Epic Games Store)
  • Power of Seasons
  • SAMURAI SHODOWN NEOGEO COLLECTION (Epic)
  • Satisfactory (Epic)

A new feature has also been added for those that are big Rocket League fans and like to stream it while away from your usual gaming setup. Nvidia Highlights is now supported in Rocket League via GeForce Now, so any flashy goals, saves, assists that you come up with can be captured and shared.

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
