Souls-like ‘Pascal’s Wager: Definitive Edition’ is coming to Steam

When you think of AAA gaming experiences on mobile, many turn to Pascal’s Wager as a prime example. The Souls-like game garnered a moderate fan following thanks to its “console-grade production values”. Now, the developers have announced that Pascal’s Wager: Definitive Edition is coming to PC.

Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition is described as “a challenging action role playing game set in a world of dark fantasy. Step into the shoes of Couriers, as they discover the tale behind the mysterious Dark Mist”. Originally released for iOS in January 2020, the game later saw an Android port. Now, just over 1 year later, the game will be coming to PC when Pascal’s Wager: Definite Edition launches on the 12th of March 2021.

No exact details have been provided on what improvements this ‘definitive edition’ makes over the original mobile release, though it has been announced that the game will include “all previously released content for the game.”

Currently, the developers have not revealed how much Pascal’s Wager will cost on PC, though on iOS the game will set you back only £4.99. Hopefully the PC release does not see too much of a price premium added to it. Regardless, those who pre-order the game will get 10% off whatever the price ends up being.

In the past we have seen a select number of PC games come to mobile. It is not often that the reverse is true, when a mobile game is ported to PC/console. It will be interesting to see how the game translates when being played on a big screen with a mouse and keyboard / controller.
