The Lenovo ThinkStation P40w-20 monitor is the world's first Thunderbolt 4 professional monitor supporting Intel Active Management Technology. With an ultrawide aspect ratio, the 40-inch panel of the ThinkStation P40w-20 allows users to increase their productivity thanks to the enormous display area it offers.

Featuring a 40-inch WLED IPS panel with a 2500R curvature, the ThinkStation P40w-20 has a 5120x2160p resolution, 75Hz refresh rate, and a response time of 6ms in normal mode and 4ms in extreme mode. With a 10-bit colour depth. 300nits of brightness, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a factory calibration with ∆E<2 variance, the ThinkStation P40w-20's IPS panel covers 99% of the sRGB colour gamut and 98% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum.

The ThinkStation P40w-20 monitor is certified as TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe Display, featuring Natural Low Blue Light technology to reduce the users' eye strain and fatigue. Supporting Intel AMT technology, users can access other computers connected to the same network as this display. Additionally, it also features Audio Smart Switch to automatically select the audio device connected through the audio jack and activate it, an eKVM to access two sources at the same time, and PbP mode to display two sources side-by-side.

For I/O, the monitor includes a DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.0 port, 2x Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an Ethernet RJ45 port. The included stand is height adjustable, but it also allows users to tilt and swivel the monitor. Moreover, the monitor supports both VESA 100x100mm and 200x100mm monitor arms.

Lenovo hasn't revealed the pricing of the ThinkStation P40w-20, but it is planned to release by Q3 2021.
