Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcase coming this week

Recent rumours have claimed that Hogwarts Legacy gameplay will be revealed this month, ahead of a September 2022 release. Now, this is partially confirmed, with Sony today announcing its next State of Play stream, which will be a Hogwarts Legacy showcase.

Sony has the marketing deal in place for Hogwarts Legacy, so while the game isn't exclusive, our first look at gameplay will take place during a dedicated State of Play stream this week, the 17th of March. All gameplay shown will be from the PlayStation 5 version of the game, and we'll be getting around 15 minutes of gameplay in total during the 20 minute long stream.

Previously, an art book showcasing concept art from the game was listed with a 6th of September release date. It is believed that the full game will also be available in early September.

As always, the State of Play will be streamable on Twitch and YouTube. The stream takes place at 9PM GMT on the 17th of March.

KitGuru Says: We've been waiting for a full gameplay reveal ever since this game initially leaked back in 2018. From the sounds of it, we'll be getting a lot of new information from this stream, and likely a release date too.
