AOC Agon debuts new 720Hz dual-mode WOLED monitor

Agon by AOC has announced the debut of its Agon 7 series with the launch of the Agon Pro AGP277QKDC gaming monitor. The 26.5-inch professional-grade display is scheduled for release in September 2026 and marks the brand's first model to combine dual-frame mode with a 4th-generation Tandem WOLED panel.

The Agon Pro AGP277QKDC's dual frame mode allows competitive players to switch between two profiles depending on their gaming needs. Users can select either a native 540Hz refresh rate at QHD (2560×1440) resolution or a 720Hz mode at HD (1280×720) resolution. According to AOC, the display has a 0.03ms GtG response time and carries Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certification, along with Adaptive-Sync support.

The panel is a 4th-generation Tandem WOLED with a rated peak brightness of 1500 nits at 1.5% APL. Colour performance spans 99.5% of the DCI-P3 gamut with 10-bit depth, backed by factory calibration and a VESA Certified DisplayHDR True Black 500 rating. To protect the panel, the manufacturer includes a three-year warranty that explicitly covers OLED burn-in.

Connectivity features include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR 20) input, and a USB-C port with 65W power delivery. An integrated KVM switch allows control of two PCs via a single set of peripherals. Physical adjustments are supported by a stand base offering 150mm of height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and a 90° pivot. The monitor will retail for £699.

KitGuru says: We are seeing some insanely fast gaming monitors hitting the market at the moment. Will you be considering the Agon Pro AGP277QKDC for a new upgrade?
