Gigabyte has announced the availability of the MO32U24, a new 32-inch gaming monitor packing a 4K / 240Hz QD-OLED panel for under £700.
The MO32U24 integrates Gigabyte's Advanced ObsidianShield film, designed to increase perceived black levels by up to 40% and preserve colour even in heavy ambient light. The panel boasts an upgraded 3H surface hardness rating, providing 2.5x greater scratch resistance than standard designs. Performance metrics include a 0.03ms GTG response time, VESA ClearMR 13000 certification, a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 rating, and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Gigabyte has implemented HyperNits technology, which boosts overall peak brightness up to 1300 nits in its dedicated HDR mode. For standard dynamic range content, an integrated AI Picture Mode automatically adjusts the monitor's display presets in real time based on user activity. Competitive players can also use “Tactical Features” such as Tactical Switch 2.0 for adjustments to screen size and aspect ratio, an Ultra Clear motion blur reduction setting, and an AI Black Equalizer.
To ensure long-term reliability and mitigate the risk of panel burn-in, the MO32U24 features a fanless thermal design backed by a graphene thermal film and the company's AI OLED Care maintenance suite. Eye comfort features include TÜV Rheinland low-blue-light and flicker-free certifications, as well as OLED VRR Anti-Flicker. The MO32U24 is now available at retail, starting at £690/€820.
