New GTA 6 open world details revealed by retail listings

New retail listings for Grand Theft Auto 6 have gone live across several regions, revealing additional details about the game. Brazilian retailers, including Amazon Brazil and Kabum, have published updated product descriptions outlining new gameplay features, world interactions and systems players can expect when GTA 6 arrives in November 2026.

As spotted by fans on Reddit, one of the most notable additions is a more advanced in‑game smartphone. Players will be able to browse in‑game social networks, follow influencers and even watch “viral videos”. The listings also confirm the return of random events and a wider range of interactive establishments, which I take to mean additional shops, food outlets, mini game activities etc. Dynamic weather and improved AI‑controlled NPCs are also highlighted, all of which should contribute to a more believable and reactive open world.

However, the Premium Edition of GTA 6 is drawing attention for less positive reasons. Priced at $100, this version includes exclusive side quests and grants access to several in‑game stores that are completely inaccessible in the standard edition. These stores cover customisation options such as a car mechanic, clothing outlets, haircuts and tattoos. While none of this appears to be gameplay breaking, the presence of locked buildings in the world will be immersion‑breaking for players on the base version.

This also ties back to Rockstar’s earlier messaging, which described GTA 6 as a “single‑player experience”, with no mention of GTA Online. With the multiplayer component seemingly arriving later, there are also questions over whether or not we will have to pay extra for the next version of GTA Online as a standalone game, or if it will be included with purchases of the single-player game just like GTA 5.

KitGuru Says: We won't know how well all of this stuff works until we can get hands on the game for ourselves. Fortunately, there is not much longer to wait, as the game is now locked in for its November 19th release on PS5 and Xbox.
