Black Ops 7’s final Season ‘The Haunting’ is crossing over with DOOM

Whether you love it or hate it, there is no denying that Black Ops 7 has been one of the most supported entries in the Call of Duty franchise, with each post-launch Season bringing in tons of new additions across multiplayer, Zombies and even the co-op focused Endgame. Ending their year of live-service support on what will hopefully be a high, Treyarch have now detailed BO7 Season 6: The Haunting.

Taking to their blog to detail COD: Black Ops 7’s final Season, the team at Treyarch officially announced that The Haunting will go live on the 17th of September. As has been the case for the past many years, the final Season for each COD culminates with a Halloween-themed update.

Full details on the entire lengthy suite of additions can be found HERE, but some of the most notable include:

General

  • 4 new weapons
  • 3 new attachments
  • DOOM crossover event pass
  • 45 new weapon camos

Endgame

  • New Avalon night map variant
  • New World Event (The Forbidden Summoning)

Multiplayer

  • New map (Quantum)
  • New Haunting themed map variant (Bloodstead)
  • T.E.D.D. Trials LTM (set on 3 different Zombies maps)
  • Hordepoint LTM
  • Freeze Tag LTM

Black Ops The Haunting

Zombies

  • New survival map (Tenshu)
  • Rex Infernus Directed Mode
  • Rex Infernus Starting Room challenge
  • Rogue Run mode updates
    • New upgrades
    • New rewards
    • Two new maps
    • Halloween reskin
  • Super Easter Egg

Of course, Season 6 will also launch alongside a new battle pass, Warzone updates (including Haunted Hollow), the final Ranked Season of multiplayer and more. For fans of Zombies in particular, the addition of a Super Easter Egg (requiring you to complete all previous maps’ quests) is particularly exciting.

We will have to wait and see what exactly is in store for players when Black Ops 7 Season 6 goes live on the 17th of September.

KitGuru says: Will you be hopping into Black Ops 7’s final Season? How would you rank BO7 in terms of post-launch support? Will you try to complete the Super Easter Egg? Let us know down below.
