Leaker claims next-gen gaming GPUs delayed to 2028

According to a recent report, next-generation gaming GPU architectures from both Nvidia and AMD may not arrive until 2028, claiming delays to both RTX 60 and AMD's RDNA 5 graphics cards. 

This info comes from Kepler_L2 (via Wccftech), who claimed a single AMD GPU codenamed “AT2” is reportedly planned fo 2027, ahead of the broader RDNA 5 rollout in 2028. It remains unclear whether this GPU will debut as a flagship model or a mainstream design to launch the new family. Meanwhile, Nvidia's previously planned GeForce RTX 50-Series Super refresh faces uncertainty due to ongoing RAM scarcity.

Two years ago, no one would have said the next generation of GPUs would take 4 years to release. However, as DRAM allocation to hyperscalers and AI infrastructure has increased, consumer memory supply has tightened in recent quarters, pushing retail GPU prices higher. These supply constraints continue to impact manufacturer roadmaps across the graphics card market.
