Samsung takes its opportunity to mock Apple Maps

A few days ago Victorian Police warned people against using Apple Maps as it was, and is, “potentially life threatening” as instead of guiding users to a town in the Australian outback, users were directed to the middle of a National Park. Some unfortunate motorists have found themselves stranded without food or water for up to 48 hours as a result.

Now, Samsung has decided to rub salt in Apple's wounds by placing some reaction advertising at Apple's expense. A display has been set up in Sydney, complete with a lost and muddied up 4×4 vehicle, a campsite and a sign saying “Oops, Should have got a Samsung Galaxy SIII. Get navigation you can trust.”

KitGuru says: In this case Apple has certainly got what they deserved.
