Anonymous threaten to take down Facebook – 5th November

Well known hacking group Anonymous have threatened to take down Facebook. The posting will concern many people as Facebook is used by many millions of people every single day.

The message would indicate that Anonymous are not happy with the organisation due to previous sharing of private data – they claim that Facebook has been selling data to government agencies. They say that Facebook is the ‘antithesis’ of the AntiSec cause.

We aren’t sure if the threat is yet ‘real’ but it has been posted on Youtube with already well over half a million views on the video.

Kitguru says: Facebook prepared for a potential attack? We can imagine they will be scrambling now to tighten down any loopholes in their network.
