Intel Core i7 2600K and Core i5 2500K review

Earlier we compared the Intel Core i5-2500k against the Core i5 760. On this page we overclocked the 760 to match the 3.3ghz clock speed of the 2500k – giving it a 500mhz clock boost from the reference figure of 2.8ghz.

At the same clocks, the AES256 Cryptography performance is substantially improved although SAH256 is slightly lower.

The figures speak for themselves, 21.3% faster at the same clocks.

Almost 2 minutes faster at the same clocks, thats a huge time saving, especially if this one of your primary tasks.
