Intel Core i7 2600K and Core i5 2500K review

The Core i5-2600k system in this review is based around the ASRock P67 Fatal1ty Pro Motherboard, highlighted earlier.

Intel supplied their new cooler for us to take a look at … the XTS100H, which actually is a really good design. However …

… as Noctua sent us several of their NH D14 coolers we decided to use one of them.

GSkill sent us a 4GB kit of their new RIPJAWS 2133mhz DDR3 designed specifically for this platform. This memory ships with extremely tight timings of 7-10-7-27 at 1.65v.

System validation is available over here.

Throughout testing, the 2600K temperatures never exceeded 40c under load.
