Zotac gives the ‘World’s smallest GTX 1080 Ti’ a water block

Last month, KitGuru was lucky enough to get a hands on with Zotac’s GTX 1080 Ti Mini, which still retains the title for ‘World’s smallest 1080 Ti’. Today, the company has announced that the card is getting a makeover, with the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm Mini sporting a water block.

The ArcticStorm Mini is actually 1mm longer than its air cooled predecessor, coming in at 212 mm (8.35-inch) which is a small sacrifice to make for full water cooling while maintaining a compact design. Its full-coverage water block maximises heat extraction by utilising a nickel plated direct copper contact with precision 0.3mm micro-channels.

Zotac has tailored the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm Mini with standard G 1/ 4 type fittings to ensure compatibility with the majority of third-party liquid cooling solutions. Support for 10mm ID tubing is also available with the pair of barbs included within the box.

Aesthetics aren’t lost on the card, either, with Zotac implementing a clear tinted acrylic top to showcase the cooling methods. The colouring of the card is purposefully neutral alongside an all-white LED to make it perfectly versatile for any themed build.

KitGuru Says: I’ve not seen many water cooled form factor builds but Zotac’s new card certainly helps make that a possibility while keeping the rig as powerful as possible. Are you interested in the space-saving GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm Mini?
