Zotac RTX 4070 Super Trinity Black Edition Review

Following on from our stock thermal and acoustic testing, here we re-test the operating temperature of the GPU, but with noise levels normalised to 40dBa. This allows us to measure the efficiency of the overall cooling solution as varying noise levels as a result of more aggressive fan curves are no longer a factor.

When normalising noise levels to 40dBa and then re-testing thermal performance, the Zotac Trinity Black Edition sits right in the middle of the pack – it can't quite match the likes of the Aero OC, but it does run a few degrees cooler than the Twin X2 or Founders Edition.

Likewise for memory thermals, we saw a peak of 58C, which is the same as the JetStream OC and Twin X2.
