MSI redesigns the RTX 3060Ti Ventus 2X OC with new OCV1 model

MSI is launching a smaller version of its RTX 3060Ti Ventus 2X OC. The OCV1 model will come with a different power delivery system and reduced dimensions, allowing it to fit into smaller cases.

The RTX 3060Ti Ventus 2X OCV1 graphics card will come with a single 8-pin power connector, instead of the two that come with the original Ventus 2X OC. Despite reducing the number of power connectors, the TGP remains the same (200W).

MSI also redesigned the dual-fan cooling system by using its Torx 3.0 fans alongside a smaller heatsink, reducing the 2.2-slot design to a 2-slot design (52mm vs 42mm). The length and depth of the card were kept the same.

The base and boost clock of the alternative model were unchanged, running a base clock of 1410MHz, boosting up to 1695MHz. Memory runs at stock settings, with 8GB of GDDR6 clocked at 14Gbps. Available video outputs are also the same, featuring an HDMI 2.1 port and 3x DisplayPorts 1.4a.

Pricing and availability were not disclosed yet. You can learn more about this graphics card HERE.
