Tomb Raider received much acclaim from critics, who praised the graphics, the gameplay and Camilla Luddington’s performance as Lara with many critics agreeing that the game is a solid and much needed reboot of the franchise. Much criticism went to the addition of the multiplayer which many felt was unnecessary. Excellent results from the Sapphire R9 390 Nitro, clearly outperforming the Palit GTX970 this time, even at 1440p. A pattern is emerging – the R9 390 Nitro, when manually overclocked to the limit can match, or even slightly outperform the reference clocked R9 390X Tri-X 8GB.
