Sparkle GTX560 2GB OC Edition Review

Aliens V Predator has proved to be a big seller since the release and Sega have taken the franchise into new territory after taking it from Sierra. AVP is a Direct X 11 supported title and delivers not only advanced shadow rendering but high quality tessellation for the cards on test today.

To test the cards we used a 1080p resolution with DX11, Texture Quality Very High, MSAA Samples 1, 16 af, ambient occulsion on, shadow complexity high, motion blur on. We use this with most of our graphics card testing so cards are comparable throughout reviews.

A very demanding Direct X 11 engine, especially at high resolutions. Sparkles overclocked GTX560 maintains playable frame rates at all times, although it did drop once to the borderline of smooth frame rates (25fps).

  1. nice card, but why not go for a ti instread? seems a better deal to me.

  2. I already have this card and the review is fair, it is a bit loud due to the single, small fan, but performance is great. THey should have made a dual fan version

  3. Sparkle? didnt even know they were still going. they have a weak presense in UK. not the first company I would think of for a purchase.

looks like a decent card, but the cooler is quite poor considering the competition. You were too nice in the review

  4. I think this card is pointless with new AMD cards launching soon and all that.
