Sparkle GTX560 2GB OC Edition Review

For overclocking today we used the latest beta version of MSI Afterburner 2.2.

We didn't manage to get a great overclock from the memory, analysing some minor artifacts when pushing past 1039mhz. We managed to push the core to 886mhz, which translates to an overclock a little less than 8%.

The overclock gained noticeable results from 3DMark 11, improving the score by around 300 points to 4,525. This pushed the performance past the reference clocked AMD HD6870.

PlayStation head of 3rd party claims “There are no dire times for the industry ahead”

The past few years in particular have felt pretty bleak for the video games industry, with the rise and fall of countless live-service games creating volatility, while the influx of gen-AI has led to continuous price hikes across the board. Despite all this, the head of 3rd parties at PlayStation ‘Christian Svensson’ has claimed that “there are no dire times for the industry ahead as far as I'm concerned.”

  1. nice card, but why not go for a ti instread? seems a better deal to me.

  2. I already have this card and the review is fair, it is a bit loud due to the single, small fan, but performance is great. THey should have made a dual fan version

  3. Sparkle? didnt even know they were still going. they have a weak presense in UK. not the first company I would think of for a purchase.

looks like a decent card, but the cooler is quite poor considering the competition. You were too nice in the review

  4. I think this card is pointless with new AMD cards launching soon and all that.
