Origin Code bursts onto memory scene with ultra-fast DDR5 kits

In the world of PC hardware, we've seen some wild designs, and today, a new contender has entered the ring. A company called Origin Code has just launched the Vortex DDR5, which it claims is the world's first DDR5 memory module to feature an integrated, active triple-fan cooling system.

The Vortex DDR5 memory sticks feature a dedicated module that houses three 40mm dual-ball bearing fans, which actively blow air across the company's own “ScaleCut Cooling Fin” aluminium heatsink design. The company claims this aggressive cooling solution provides up to 39.8% higher heat dissipation, designed to keep the memory stable under the most intense gaming or AI workloads. However, due to their size, RAM clearance will be something you'll have to pay attention to.

The lineup of available kits is just as interesting as the cooler. While there are high-capacity options up to a massive 256GB (4x 64GB), the standout kit for enthusiasts is a 48GB (2x 24GB) kit. This memory kit features dual EXPO profiles, enabling users to run it at a stable 6000 MT/s CL26 or switch to a high-performance 8000 MT/s CL36 profile. The detailed list of kits can be found below:

  • 32GB (2x 16GB) 6200 MT/s CL26
  • 48GB (2x 24GB) 6000 MT/s CL26 / 8000 MT/s CL36
  • 192GB (4x 48GB) 6000 MT/s CL26
  • 256GB (4x 64GB) 6000 MT/s CL30

The Origin Code Vortex DDR5 is clearly not for your average build. It's a no-compromise, halo product aimed at overclockers and professionals who need high-capacity, high-frequency memory. As such, don't expect it to come cheap.
