Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD Review

The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously.

Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Samsung's SSD960 EVO isn't that far behind the SSD960 PRO in the Sequential read performance stakes and the Intelligent TurboWrite technology seems to give the 960 EVO a slight edge in write performance.

KitGuru Games: DLSS 5 misses the point

It would be hard to argue that NVIDIA’s DLSS technologies haven’t been a net positive to the PC space, with the machine-learning based upscaler successfully translating lower resolution inputs into a final image which is perceivably sharper while hogging fewer resources. Though somewhat more contentious, the next evolution of DLSS came in the form of Frame Generation, using ML in order to generate additional frames for high-refresh rate gaming. Both techniques can have their issues, but generally speaking they’ve allowed for more people to experience higher-end titles at increased frame rates. DLSS 5, however, takes a sharp pivot, with a very different end goal in mind than the performance-boosting versions that came before.

  1. Its really hard to trust Samsung with e Drive 1667 they never delivered on the 950 like they promised and I don’t have any faith that they will deliver on the 960. Until this happens it’s a non purchase for me. I am disappointed no hardware site has taken them to task on this.
