Fierce PC Shuriken System Review – Ryzen 5 3600 & RX 5700

Thermals

After prolonged stress testing, we saw excellent CPU temperatures here. The Ryzen 5 3600 OC idled at 30C, reaching around 44C while gaming and did not surpass 60C running Cinebench R15, showing how effective the 240mm AIO from ASUS really is . The GPU didn’t push past the 70C mark at all, highlighting the impressive airflow from such a large case with a three intake fans.

Noise

Jumping over to our noise results, the Shuriken is audible when idling but is nothing too distracting. While gaming the fans certainly ramp up and can be clearly head, but in my opinion, I’d rather have better temperatures and slightly higher noise levels rather than the other way around! Overall, I was happy with these results.

Power

Once again very respectable results from the power consumption tests. Idling around the 100w is perhaps on the high side, but under load the system pulled just under 270W – meaning the PSU was never operating at more than 36% load.
