Cyberpower Infinity X66 GTX Gaming PC review

We use CPUID HWMonitor to measure the maximum CPU and GPU temperature after all three FireStrike tests, including its Ultra 4K stress test. To measure idle system temperatures we leave the system running at the desktop for 30 minutes before taking the reading.

To be expected with its Cooler Master Seidon 240mm watercooler, the Intel Core i5-8600K is kept relatively cool despite the stress being placed on it. The MSI GTX 1060 6GB is also surprisingly cool considering it only houses a single fan, instead of the dual or even triple fan aftermarket coolers we are used to.

Temperatures climbed slightly for the CPU while playing The Witcher 3, hitting a maximum of 55 degrees Celsius, which is still well within a decent temperature to ensure performance.

While I cannot measure the acoustics of the system without a decibel meter, the Cyberpower Infinity X66 GTX kept incredibly quiet throughout all of the testing, only piping up a little when The Witcher 3 pushed it to its limits. It's worth noting that its use of a watercooler for the CPU does help keep things hush, however the system will be louder if more fans are introduced using the remaining 2 empty fan slots.
