Crystalmark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives and SSD’s. We are using V5.2.1 x64.

AMD System

Intel System

Due to availability, the two systems didn't have quite the same SSDs, but both are pretty quick at reading and writing. The AMD system's Samsung SSD is a fair bit quicker for reading than the Intel systme's Kingston one, but none of our CPU or GPU tests would have gained an advantage from this.
