Leaked Returnal PC menu shows off ray-tracing and more

Returnal remains one of the more unique PlayStation 5 exclusive games to have been released in the past few years, with the 3rd person roguelite bullet hell shooter seeing great success on Sony’s latest system. That being said, rumours have claimed that Returnal is set to come to PC in the not-too-distant future – and a new leak has now shown just some of the new PC options being added.

Returnal has all-but-been-confirmed to be coming to PC at some point in the future, with not only the infamous Nvidia leak stating that fact, but since then, Housemarque themselves have leaked its existence. Thanks to icon-era user ‘Bryank75, we now have our first look at Returnal’s settings menu on PC – and it offers quite a few improvements over the PS5.

Returnal on PC will seemingly offer a number of different ‘screen optimisation’ settings, including manual resolution scaling; dynamic resolution scaling; DLSS; AMD’s FSR; VRS; and even Nvidia’s NIS image scaling technique.

As expected, the PC port will also include VSYNC options and the ability to go beyond 60fps. Surprisingly, it seems as though Returnal on PC will add ray-tracing. Though we were not privy to the full settings menu, it can be seen that Returnal on PC will at least offer ray-traced shadows and ray-traced reflections – two of the more effective forms of RT.

With a settings menu as comprehensive as this in place, it is safe to assume that the PC port of Returnal is quite far in development. Hopefully it is officially announced soon.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the settings menu? Are you excited for Returnal to come to PC? What PC feature are you looking forward to the most? Let us know down below.
