PlayStation Plus is getting classic, PS4, and PS5 games

In preparation for the launch of the new PlayStation Plus service, Sony is set to introduce a raft of new games to the Extra and Premium tiers. Alongside PS4 and PS5 titles such as Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and Demon's Souls remake, Plus subscribers will also get classics from PS1 and PSP, including Tekken 2 and Syphon Filter.

As if the Ubisoft+ games coming to PlayStation Plus weren't enough, subscribers will now have an even bigger library once the service is available in their region. In addition to these games, Premium subs will also have access to multiple PS3 games via streaming and time-limited game trials. Sony will be refreshing the lineup of games on the first Tuesday of the month for the Plus Essential members, but Extra and Premium tiers will get an additional monthly refresh in the middle of each month.

The number of time-limited game trials is still low, but as PlayStation 5 gets more games, the list should increase. Once the new Plus service becomes available, Premium members will be able to play Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077, Farming Simulator 22, Tiny Tina's Wonderland and WWE 2K22 for about 2 hours.

The new Playstation Plus service will launch next week, starting with the Asian market on May 24th. Japan will get it on June 2nd, followed by North and South America on June 13th. Lastly, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand will have it by June 23rd.
