Check out Destiny 2 running on PC in 4K/60fps

With the Destiny 2 PC beta now just a week and a half away, Bungie is showing off a bit more of the PC version of the game. The beta itself kicks off on the 28th of August but if you want to get an idea of what the game is like, you can check out some footage of the PC version running in 4K at 60 frames per second.

The Destiny 2 beta on PC will include several improvements over the console version, on top of that, PC players will get an extra map to try out in PvP. As for options in the PC version, this beta build is off to a good start, offering completely uncapped frame rates, fully adjustable graphics settings, 21:9 ultra-wide monitor support and full keyboard/mouse support. Here’s a video of the game in action:

A short while back, we also got to take a look at Destiny 2’s system requirements. To refresh your memory, here they are:

Minimum spec:

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3250/ AMD FX-4350.
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD7850 2GB.
  • RAM: 6GB.

And here is the recommended spec:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD Ryzen R5 1600X.
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970/AMD Radeon R9 390.
  • RAM: 8GB.

For the full 4K/60 experience, then you are likely going to need an Intel Core i7 and a GTX 1080TI. This is what Bungie was using to show the game off at events earlier this year.

KitGuru Says: Destiny 2 is shaping up nicely and it seems Bungie is diving in properly when it comes to PC features. 21:9 ultra-wide support right out of the gate is particularly nice to see. Will any of you be checking out the Destiny 2 PC beta when it arrives?
