Fall Guys surpasses 50 million players in two weeks

Over a week ago we reported that Fall Guys Free For All, the free-to-play re-launch of Fall Guys, attracted more than 20 million players in just 48 hours. Two weeks on from release, we now have updated figures which reveal that the game has now passed 50 million players.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Fall Guys account said “We're in absolute disbelief… 50 million players in 2 weeks!!! UNBELIEVABLE. THANKS EVERYONE!”

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout first launched on the PlayStation 4 and PC on the 4th of August 2020 and was given away for free as part of PlayStation Plus that month. The game quickly rose in ranks to become the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time while selling over 10 million copies on PC alone. Epic Games later announced in 2021 that they would be acquiring Mediatonic, the studio behind Fall Guys.

Finally, after multiple seasons of success, Fall Guys has been released on all modern platforms (Switch, PS4/5, Xbox One/Series, PC) as a free-to-play title to explosive success (as mentioned, gaining 20 million players in just 48 hours). Boosting this figure up to 50 million in two weeks is nothing short of impressive, and begs the question of just how quickly the game will reach 100 million players.
