MLG teams up with X Games for Esports

If you're into your extreme sports like skateboarding, MotoX and snowboarding, then chances are you're a fan of X Games, an organisation specifically designed to cater to these sports and provide international competitive events for the best in the world to go head to head in. In the future though, that same stage that sees the top bikers and boarders from across the world compete in-front of millions will also become home to a bunch of professional gamers.

Coming hot off of its announcement for a co-developed eSports gaming arena in China, Major League Gaming (MLG) has teamed up with X Games to bring some of its top ‘athletes' to the organisation. The first event between the two will be termed the MLG X Games Invitational, with the top Call of Duty players on the MLG roster going head to head.

Set to take place between the 6th and 8th of June in the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas, you can get tickets at the official Ticket Master page for $89 for the three days. If you can't attend in person there's always the MLG official channels and it'll be on ESPN and ABC too.
