Cooler Master new entry-level gaming monitor delivers high refresh rates for just €110

Cooler Master has recently released its most affordable monitor yet, the GA2501. This 24.5-inch flat screen monitor is a game-changer for entry-level monitors, with a sleek design that looks anything but cheap.

The monitor has a 24.5-inch IPS panel (6 bit + FRC) with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, providing 84% coverage of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB and 109% of the sRGB. Moreover, the monitor has a 4ms (GTG) response time, a 100Hz refresh rate, 250 nits of typical brightness, and a 1300:1 static contrast ratio. Like most IPS panels, this one offers a wide viewing angle of 178°/178°.

What makes this monitor stand out is its connectivity options. It includes an HDMI (1.4) and a D-Sub (VGA), allowing legacy analogue connectivity. With D-Sub, you can get the native resolution at a reduced 75Hz refresh rate, though the D-Sub cable is not included in the box. However, the HDMI cable is included, and the monitor's sole digital input is necessary for the full 100Hz refresh rate.

In addition, there's a 3.5mm audio out port, eye protection via a low blue light mode, and anti-flicker technology. The included stand only offers tilt adjustments. According to Cowcotland, the Cooler Master GA2501 is already available in Europe for just €110.
