Intel is significantly upgrading its Arc Control software, bringing many new features and a fresh new name. Say goodbye to “Arc Software” and hello to “Graphics Software”, a comprehensive hub for all your graphics and display needs.
The new software suite aims to close the gap with competing solutions from AMD and Nvidia, offering a more robust and user-friendly experience for Intel Arc GPU owners. It retains all the essential features of its predecessor, such as driver updates, game optimisations, and display settings customisation, while bringing new capabilities to the table.
One of the most notable additions is enhanced overclocking control. Users will now have finer control over their graphics cards, including the ability to optimise VRAM. A leaked screenshot suggests that users can overclock memory from 19 Gbps to 22 Gbps, potentially unlocking significant performance gains. The software also allows you to adjust power limits, voltage, and clock speeds so enthusiasts can fine-tune their GPUs.
Intel Graphics Software also introduces brand-new features, such as manually activating Low Latency Mode for XeSS through the Graphics tab, allowing gamers to prioritise latency or visual fidelity.
The rebranding to “Intel Graphics Software” aligns with the industry trend of simplifying software names and moving away from product-specific branding. This change reflects Intel's broader vision for graphics solutions and positions the software as a central hub for all Intel GPU users. The updated Intel Graphics Software will launch alongside the Arc B580 GPUs in mid-December.
