nVidia GTX 580 shows up online – 20% faster than GTX 480 ?

pcinlife.com have published a few pictures of what they claim is the upcoming GTX 580 card from nVidia. Specifications have not been confirmed yet, although there is much rumour and speculation.

The latest reports claim that it is 20 percent faster than the current GTX480 which means it should be extremely powerful indeed. The cooler is a dual slot design with rear exhaust grill and blower fan.

    hang on… don’t 480 beat 5870/6870, and if 6970 is in the 20’s % faster than barts, and the 580 is 20% faster than the 480… if all thats true then i reckon 580 will be faster than 6970

    missing something O.o?
