EA selling 50+ iPhone and iPad games for 59p: Christmas special

Who says the Christmas spirit is dead? Electronic Arts are offering over 50 games for the iPod and iPod Touch as well as 10 or so for the iPad in the run up to the holidays for only 59p (99c in US).

This is a really cool idea and already the EA games are topping the charts. Games such as Fifa 2011, SimCity Deluxe and Battlefield: Bad Company are all 59p on the store.

We bought Need For Speed Hot Pursuit this morning on the iPad in glorious HD for only 59p, a reduction from £5.99 a few days ago.

If you own any Apple handheld devices then be sure to check out the offers on the iTunes store.

KitGuru says: 59p for leading games? We will have some of that!

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
