Marvel’s Wolverine arriving next year according to concept artist

Insomniac Games have been on a roll, with the PlayStation studio releasing 4 titles for the PS5 generation so far. Despite Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 only having launched last month, it seems as though the studio’s next game – Marvel’s Wolverine – is planned to release in 2024; at least according to one concept artist.

As discovered by ResetEra user ‘Red Kong XIX’ concept artist Hung Nguy took to their Artstation account to publish a bunch of their current productions. Interestingly, Nguy appears to be working on a number of PlayStation Studios titles.

According to the artist, Marvel’s Wolverine is set to release some time in 2024, with Days Gone developer ‘Bend Studio’ said to be readying their next game for release in 2025.

Of course, even if these dates are indeed true, the release years would only represent the current internal development schedule – meaning things could change between now and then.

That said, known industry insider Jeff Grubb has previously claimed that Wolverine at the very least is seemingly planned to release in 2024, lending credence to this latest report,

If Marvel’s Wolverine does indeed end up releasing in 2024 then it would be hard to argue that Insomniac Games haven’t been the MVP of the PS5 generation so far.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
