Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition announced for PC and PS5

A couple of weeks ago, a reputable leaker claimed that Horizon Forbidden West would be coming to PC as part of a Complete Edition bundle containing the base game and its expansion. Now just two weeks later, Sony has officially announced this.

Horizon Forbidden West is officially the next major PlayStation title to make its way over to PC. The Complete Edition will launch first on PS5 this October, containing the base game, the Burning Shores expansion, a digital soundtrack and artbook, a digital comic book and a few extra in-game items for $59.99.

In early 2024, this bundle will make its way on to PC. There is no exact release date yet but February will mark the two year anniversary of the game's initial release on PS5. With that in mind, it would seem that Sony is settling on a two-year cadence for bringing its PS5 exclusives over to PC. With that information, we can theorise when titles like God of War Ragnarok and Spider-Man 2 will land, with the former now likely to come to PC in late 2024, and Spider-Man 2 arriving sometime in 2025.

There are still a few PS4 exclusives that fans would love to see on PC – with Ghost of Tsushima being at the top of the list for me. Sucker Punch's action-adventure set in Feudal Japan is in the running for one of my favourite games of all time and has been rumoured for a PC release a number of times in the past. Unfortunately, nothing has been announced so far, but we can keep our fingers crossed for that to change at some point in the future.

KitGuru Says: With Horizon Forbidden West now heading to PC, I may finally try out the Burning Shores expansion. I didn't enjoy the sequel as much as the original game when it comes to story, but the gameplay, visuals and open world are all certainly kicked up a notch.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
