Age of Empires II: Return of Rome expansion coming next month

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is just about to get a new expansion. The previously announced Return of Rome DLC will release next month and is expected to bring some of the civilizations of the first entry of the franchise to the new game.

The Definitive Edition of Age of Empires II has already received three expansions since its launch: Lords of the West (January 2021), Dawn of the Dukes (August 2021) and Dynasties of India (April 2022). Now the fourth expansion is heading our way on May 16th.

AoE II Definitive Edition's Return of Rome was announced late last year as part of the Age of Empires' 25th-anniversary celebration. All expansions brought new civilizations and campaigns, and the upcoming DLC shouldn't be different. However, that could happen on a larger scale, as Larry Hryb, Xbox's Major Nelson, pointed out. According to Hryb, Return of Rome will include all 16 civilizations and respective campaigns featured in the original Age of Empires and Age of Empires Definitive Edition.

Age of Empires II Definitive Edition is now available for PC (Steam and Microsoft Store) and Xbox.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
