Dead by Daylight studio’s upcoming game will launch day-one on PS Plus

Unlike Microsoft with Xbox Game Pass, Sony does not bring its first-party titles to the console manufacturer’s PlayStation Plus subscription service at launch. Despite this, Sony has been rather good with adding partner titles day-one to PS Plus. Such is the case with Behaviour Interactive’s upcoming post-apocalyptic first-person building and raiding game ‘Meet Your Maker’ – which is launching day-one on PlayStation Plus Essential.

Making the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Behaviour Interactive’s Lead Content Strategist Justin Fragapane said “Meet Your Maker launches on April 4, and what better way to do it than with Day 1 availability as part of the April 2023 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup.”

Explaining the reasons behind this day-one release, Fragapane continued, “while there’s no better feeling than finally getting a game into the hands of players, Meet Your Maker’s focus on user-generated content makes this release extra special for us.”

For the uninitiated, Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game which sees you both create and try to navigate user-created mazes filled with “Twisting hallways, verticality, multiple branching corridors, and trap-filled dead ends are all great ways to confound Raiders.”

Meet Your Maker is coming to Xbox One|Series, PC and PS4|5, but in bringing the game day-one to PlayStation Plus – and the Essential tier no less – the game will hopefully launch on the 4th of April to an influx of players and creators making for a game rich with content.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
