Fortnite x Attack On Titan officially announced

Fortnite’s upcoming Season is just a few short days away, with the Neo-Japan inspired theme having now been officially announced and shown off. While we have already gotten a decent look at some of the additions set to arrive with the update, Epic Games have now revealed that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will be getting an Attack on Titan crossover – with possibly gameplay-altering effects.

Taking to Twitter to tease fans, Epic Games released a promo image of Eren Yaegar fully-kitted out in his ODM gear looking upon one of the island’s new upcoming locations, alongside the caption “There’s more to explore beyond the walls… #FortniteMEGA.”

So far, this is all that has been officially confirmed, however a bunch of leaks have since sprung up giving us more details on what to expect. Unlike many of the collaborations, Eren Yaegar will reportedly be obtainable through the Battle Pass as a secret skin.

Perhaps even more exciting however is the fact that this crossover will reportedly offer gameplay-altering additions, with the Attack on Titan series’ iconic ODM Gear being usable in-game – meaning players will be able to zip about in a way not too dissimilar to the prior Spider-Man crossover.

As the previous Spider-Man crossover proved, Epic Games are able to adapt Fortnite to fit a whole host of different gameplay styles; and while there already exists two Attack on Titan games, the Fortnite collab could very well end up being the closest we have gotten to emulating the anime’s ODM Gear usability. We will have to wait and see.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
